Both are sized to mail on their own, to go out with a Christmas card, or for a bulk letterbox drop across a farm area. A5 at 196 × 140 mm gives a larger, more readable grid where the calendar itself is the point rather than the branding. What to put on it

  • The full twelve-month grid, legible from a normal standing distance. If the dates need squinting at, the magnet gets replaced by one that doesn't.
  • Public holidays and school holidays for the relevant state. These are the dates households actually look for, and getting them wrong is the fastest way to have the magnet taken down.
  • Your logo and number in a fixed panel, not scattered through the grid.
  • Optional: a space to write recurring commitments, which increases how often the household looks at it.

Common questions

Are these printed calendars or write-on calendars?
Printed. The full year is printed on the magnet along with your branding, so it works from the day it goes on the fridge with nothing to fill in. If you want a surface people can write on and wipe clean, our whiteboard magnets are the product for that.
What sizes do calendar fridge magnets come in?
DL at 210 x 97 mm is the most ordered and the real estate standard. A5 is 196 x 140 mm, A6 is 142 x 100 mm, and a value DL at 196 x 94 mm keeps the cost down on larger runs. House shapes are available in DL (200 x 100 mm portrait, 210 x 97 mm landscape), A5 (196 x 148 mm) and A6 (145 x 100 mm). These are our press sizes rather than paper A5 and A6.
When should I send out calendar magnets?
There are two good windows and it depends on your customers. Most go out before Christmas, either mailed on their own or included with a Christmas card, so they are on the fridge as the year turns. Others do better in January and February, arriving when people are back from holidays, thinking about the year ahead and the fridge door has just been cleared. Allow 7-10 business days production from artwork approval plus delivery, and work back from whichever window suits you.
