Privacy Policy

Fridge Magnets (fridgemagnets.com.au) is operated by Wholesale Magnets Pty Ltd (ABN 33 118 745 994), an Australian business trading since 1994. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- When you ask for a price, a quote or free samples: your name, business name, mobile, email, and the product and quantity you're interested in.
- When you order: your contact and delivery details, your order, and any logos or artwork files you send us.
- When you pay: payment is by credit card or bank transfer. Card payments are processed through our bank's secure payment portal — we never store your card details.
- When you use the price assistant: the questions you type, so we can answer them and improve the answers.
- When you contact us: what you tell us by phone, email or SMS.
- When you browse the site: standard technical information (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (see below), and — if you arrived from a Google ad — the ad's click reference, kept in your browser for up to 90 days.
You don't have to give us your details, but without them we can't price, design or deliver your order.
How we use it
- To send the price you asked for, prepare your artwork and proof, make and deliver your order, invoice you and look after you afterwards.
- To follow up your enquiry, and occasionally email you about our products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We use SMS only for the price you request and follow-up about that enquiry — never for general marketing.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website (see below).
We don't sell your personal information.
Advertising measurement
If you reach our site from a Google ad and later place an order, we tell Google that the ad led to an order, using the ad's click reference and the order value. We may also send your email address and phone number in hashed form — scrambled with a one-way code before it leaves our systems, so Google receives no readable details — so that Google can match the order to the ad. Google uses this only to measure our advertising, under its own privacy policy. You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
How we improve the website
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our site — where they click and tap, how far they scroll, and where a page is confusing — through heatmaps and recordings of visits. Anything you type into a form is hidden from Clarity, and so are numbers and email addresses shown on the page. We use this only to improve the site. Microsoft handles this information under its own privacy statement.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies to understand how it is used, and browser storage to remember an ad click reference for up to 90 days. You can clear or block these in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business, each using your information only to provide their service to us:
- Google — Analytics, advertising measurement, and Google Drive, where artwork files are stored
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Microsoft — Clarity, to understand how the website is used
- Email and SMS delivery services — to send your price, proofs and order updates
- Anthropic — answers questions typed into the price assistant (the question only, never your contact details)
- Couriers — your delivery name, address and phone number
- Our designers and production team
Some of these providers store data overseas, mainly in the United States. We choose providers with appropriate security and privacy commitments.
Keeping it safe
Your information is kept on secured, access-controlled systems in Australia and with the providers above. We keep it while you're a customer or prospect, and for as long as needed for our records and legal obligations (for example tax records), then delete or de-identify it.

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you:
